Happy Friday all! If you can believe it, we’re already a third of the way through the term and a whopping seven weeks into quarantine–by our count. After all that time spent inside, you can start to feel a bit antsy.
So, to help us refocus and recharge, our good friend Motoyuki has compiled a wellness package for all of you to enjoy, including a nuanced pdf on walking meditation, a link to tai chi and relaxation music (composed by themself), and a video on exercises to open the lungs and enhance immunity.
If you’re interested in online tai chi classes (and later in person), please email them directly (timothy.prag@nunm.edu) and they will add you to the group mailing list (only used for future classes and learning resources compiled specifically for your benefit).
Walking Meditation Guide
Tai Chi + Relaxation Music
designed to aid with relaxation, meditation, yoga & tai chi. Usage instructions in the video descriptions, which also describe the Chinese Medical principles infused in the music (e.g. different notes for different organs and emotions)
Lung + Immune Boost Talk
a favorite teacher’s talk on qigong, acupressure, and immunity
Enjoy! And stay tuned for more information around Motoyuki’s upcoming Community Tai Chi class.
