On Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, the 5th Avenue Theatre’s Rising Star Project, in collaboration with KUOW Public Radio‘s RadioActive Youth Media, will present a two-day festival of new 10-minute musicals via Facebook Live. Celebrate the Moms of the World!
Sunday is Mother’s Day, and even though COVID is keeping us indoors, that doesn’t mean we can’t still celebrate them! This weekend, be sure to send a mom an e-card, and check out all the fun things to do (even if you’re not together), like:
- Attend a virtual wine tasting
- Pick up something special if you’re in the Portland area
- Watch a new movie together (or a classic one)
- See a Broadway showcase
- and much much more!
No matter how you spend it, have a wonderful weekend! And remember to call Mom if/when you can!
