INCLD Health Study

The International Cohort on Lifestyle Determinants of Health Study, or INCLD Health, is a research study designed to gather information on students in Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH) education programs. The goal of INCLD Health is to characterize the overall health status and quality of life associated with stress and stress management practices within CIH students. Additionally, INCLD Health seeks to determine the sleep quality and microbiome diversity of CIH students.

INCLD Health is a longitudinal cohort study that all NUNM students who are not in the last year of their respective educational program are eligible to enroll in. Thus far, INCLD Health has enrolled just over 100 participants which represents roughly 25% of eligible individuals.

This Sharepoint site is designed to serve as an information resource for prospective and current study participants. We have added a link to this site on myNUNM to provide you with easy access to the study sign-up link, examples of the resultant participant and cohort data, and information about how to collect their samples for the study. Being that INCLD Health is a longitudinal cohort study, a large sample size is paramount to ensuring the quality and usability of data collected.
