Schedule an appointment in the testing center
We strongly encourage students, who will be utilizing the Testing Center all term, to book all exams per syllabus schedules. If you have questions regarding the Testing Center, please email facultysupport@nunm.edu; any questions about the administering of your exam should be directed to your faculty.

Instructions for the Testing Center
The NUNM Testing Center is a space for students with approved accommodations and those with approval from faculty.
- Location: The space is located within the Center for Academic Success – Academic Building, Room 221.
Testing Stations: See below for a diagram of the stations in the testing center.
Staff Coverage: Due to limited staffing and possible meeting conflicts, there may be times when the testing center is required to close for portions of the day. Please consult the scheduling calendars for up-to-date availability.
Scheduling Timeline: We appreciate your understanding that the 7-day notification is to allow time to collect exams from faculty and permit the Testing Center team to provide accurate administration of exams. We understand that life happens and you may have a need for a short-turn around change. We do accept submissions up to 3 business days prior to the exam date.

Changes: If you need to change your reservation less than 3 business days in advance you will need to email facultysupport@nunm.edu to discuss your options and if alternative times/dates are available.
Obtaining Tests from Faculty: Prior to exams in the Testing Center, Academic Support is in communication with faculty to get copies of exams. However, there are situations where Academic Support doesn’t receive the test from faculty before appointments in the Testing Center. To protect the time of students and Academic Support, we will follow this procedure:
- If a student is scheduled to complete a test first thing in the morning (i.e. 9a or 10a) and Academic Support hasn’t received the exam by 5pm the day before the student’s scheduled time, Academic Support will get in touch with students to reschedule.
- Example: Student A is taking a test on Thursday morning. If, after attempting to get in touch with faculty, Academic Support hasn’t received a copy of the exam by Wednesday at 5pm, they will contact Student A to reschedule their exam.
Appointment Details & Reminders: The Testing Center staff will follow up with students as needed to confirm appointment details. If you don’t hear from us, that means we have all the information we need to process your appointment request. With the new booking system, students will get appointment reminders from Microsoft Bookings, not the Testing Center staff.
