Today is the day! If you are graduating and haven’t already nominated a peer to be NUNM’s first-ever Equity + Inclusion Commencement Speaker, now is your chance! For this role, we are looking for a student who shows:
- A commitment to improving the lives of patients, clients, and community members from historically marginalized groups,
- A commitment to excellent and accessible practice, regardless of modality, and
- A commitment to representing NUNM’s mission and values in their community.
To nominate someone, visit the SurveyMonkey poll in the latest email to graduates. Students can nominate themselves by attending the Speaker Try-Out on Friday, May 10th (1-2pm in Room 201). If you are unable to attend, but would still like to audition, send your recorded speech to Tyler (tbieber@nunm.edu) by Thursday, May 9th.
