March is a month to talk about health at EVERY size! To help educate the NUNM community on the importance of this idea, two of OSL’s work study students have been barnstorming the campus with information, panel presentations, and resources.
Since last month, Lana Ferris and Chelsea Krisanda have been talking about the basics of eating disorders, the concept of Health at Every Size, and best practices around work with patients/people of all sizes. The first panel addressed the spectrum of eating disorders and their clinical presentations, as well as how clinicians (and other healers) can provide support. The second panel discussed how Health at Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating philosophies can be put into practice.
Below, you’ll find the individual recordings of the panels. For more information and resources, visit haescommunity.com.
