Dear NUNM community,
Starting in the Spring term, students will be automatically enrolled in Moodle courses based on their registration status in SONIS. This means that the Spring term courses will not be open for self-enrollment; instead, you will see your courses automatically appear on your Moodle dashboard.
Please note that Moodle pages for clinic shifts will still utilize self-enrollment this term. Other pages in the student and clinic resources sections will also continue to utilize self-enrollment. All other Moodle courses for Spring term will utilize the new automatic enrollment system.
Most courses will be available to access approximately two weeks before the beginning of the term. Click the “future” tab on the dashboard to see upcoming courses. If a course you are registered for does not appear, it may still be hidden by your instructor. Please contact the course instructor to verify that the course has been made visible. If you add or drop a class, Moodle enrollments during the add/drop period will be updated at the end of each business day.
To access the dashboard, just click the dashboard icon on the Moodle homepage:
Or, on any other page, click the “dashboard” link in the left-hand navigation panel:
If you would like to go directly to the dashboard when you visit Moodle, you can bookmark this URL: https://courses.nunm.edu/my/
We hope that these changes will simplify and improve your Moodle experience. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Justin Fowler, MEd
